Water is one of the most vital natural resources required to sustain life. The increase in human population and urbanization has led to a rise in water consumption across all sectors, especially in agriculture and industry. In line with its vision and in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals as well as relevant international principles and guidelines, Kıvanç Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has developed a sustainable water management policy.

The core pillars of our water management policy are as follows:

– To comply not only with applicable legal regulations but also with other relevant national and international requirements, and to work on minimizing potential environmental impacts related to water throughout all factory operations by adopting innovative technologies,
– To establish the most effective system possible within the scope of the Water Efficiency Regulation and to carry out the necessary efforts accordingly,
– To improve our water performance by focusing on reducing water consumption, increasing water efficiency, improving water monitoring systems, and reclaiming and reusing water in line with our water management objectives,
– To prioritize technologies that enable efficient use, reuse, and improvement of the quality of both consumed and discharged water,
– To develop, implement, and monitor projects aimed at preventing the misuse of groundwater and protecting it,
– To develop, implement, and monitor projects related to improving water quality and treating wastewater as part of our sustainability efforts,
– To monitor the effectiveness of our water management strategy using defined targets, key performance indicators, and environmental and social parameters,
– To raise environmental awareness among all our employees and stakeholders,
