At Kıvanç Tekstil, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond words—it is reflected in concrete actions. On Sunday, May 11, 2025, we left a meaningful mark on nature with the “Kıvanç Memorial Forest Tree Planting Event” held at the Alparslan Türkeş University of Science and Technology campus.

As part of the event, a total of 6,350 saplings of various species were donated to the university campus and planted in the soil. The event was met with great enthusiasm from Kıvanç Tekstil employees, their children, and families. We didn’t just make a donation—we rolled up our sleeves and planted together. Every pair of hands touched a sapling, and every heart connected with the earth.

The day’s joyful atmosphere was enriched with refreshments, music, and a cotton candy cart for children. One of the most memorable moments was when an elderly gentleman handed out cotton candy to the kids, leaving smiles on faces and warm memories in hearts.

A Real Contribution to Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

Scientific calculations show that once matured, these 6,350 saplings will remove an estimated 66 tons of CO₂ emissions from the atmosphere annually, making a tangible contribution to the environment.
