As Kıvanç Tekstil Design Center, we were pleased to bring our exhibition titled “Dialogue Through Weaving,” organized within the scope of university-industry collaboration, together with art lovers.

Held with the valuable contributions of Çukurova University, Mersin University, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Başkent University, and Atılım University, our exhibition took place in Adana, a city with a significant historical heritage in Türkiye’s textile industry, at the former Milli Mensucat Factory, now known as the Adana Museum.

The opening of our exhibition was attended by Adana Deputy Governor Mr. Emin Sait Karahaliloğlu, Deputy Mayor of Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mr. Güngör Geçer, Vice Rector of Çukurova University Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Akıllı, Former AK Party Adana Provincial Chair and 26th and 27th Term Member of Parliament Mr. Tamer Dağlı, our Vice Chairman of the Board and President of Adana Chamber of Industry Mr. Zeki Kıvanç, Chairman of the Assembly of Adana Chamber of Industry Mr. İsrafil Uçurum, Chairman of the Board of Adana Commodity Exchange Mr. Şahin Bilgiç, President of the Adana Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Mr. Niyazi Göger, as well as members of the Adana protocol, university representatives, academics, students, and many guests.

Focusing on weaving culture from the perspectives of art, design, and production, our exhibition hosted a valuable gathering as a strong example of university-industry collaboration.
