As Kıvanç Tekstil, within the scope of our efforts to strengthen gender equality and increase women’s employment, we held our first meeting with the Women’s Studies Application and Research Center (KAÇUM) of Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University and the Çözüme Ortak Ol Association (ÇOLDer) for the cooperation protocol planned to be implemented under the name “İşte Eşit Kadın”.

During the meeting, topics such as supporting women’s equal access to working life, developing sustainable employment models, guiding young women in their career paths, and potential joint projects within the framework of university–industry–civil society cooperation were discussed. In addition, project themes aimed at raising awareness in the fields of gender equality, green jobs, and sustainable textiles were evaluated.

As Kıvanç Tekstil, we aim to implement sustainable initiatives that contribute to the empowerment of women, their increased participation in employment, and the promotion of an inclusive and equality-driven workplace culture by bringing together KAÇUM’s academic expertise, the civil society experience of the Çözüme Ortak Ol Association (ÇOLDer), and our sectoral know-how. The planned activities are expected to be formalized through the signing of the protocol in the upcoming period.
