Kıvanç Tekstil has integrated the SA8000 Social Accountability Standard into all of its operational and production processes in line with its corporate approach based on internationally recognized social responsibility standards. Established in 1997 to safeguard employees’ rights, this standard is founded on respect for human rights, ethical working conditions, and fair production practices.
The SA8000 Standard is based on the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and was developed with the participation of employee and employer representatives, academics, and human rights organizations. Within this framework, the standard covers not only company operations but also all working environments throughout the supply chain.
As the first and only textile company in Adana and the region to be awarded the SA8000 Social Accountability Certificate, Kıvanç Tekstil regards the protection of employee rights, the provision of safe and healthy working conditions, and the maintenance of ethical business practices as an integral part of its corporate responsibilities.
In line with its sustainable production approach and corporate responsibility principles, the Company is committed to full compliance with the requirements of the SA8000 Standard and to continuously enhancing social responsibility awareness across all business processes.
