The purpose of this policy is to guide the activities aimed at ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all employees of Kıvanç Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. As Kıvanç Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and its employees, we aim to be a leader in occupational health and safety both nationally and internationally by adopting sustainable development strategies in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Circular Economy Principles, in the integrated fabric production sector in which we operate. We are committed to continuously improving and maintaining our occupational health and safety (OHS) performance at the highest level.

In this direction, we commit to:

– Complying with current occupational health and safety legislation and other applicable national and international requirements, and continuously reviewing and improving our OHS management system in line with ISO 45001 standards,
– Raising awareness among all our employees by providing training on occupational health and safety during onboarding and at regular intervals thereafter,
– Identifying potential risks and near-miss incidents during all activities and conducting ongoing risk assessments with a proactive approach,
– Being prepared for emergencies (fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, sabotage, etc.) and ensuring the necessary resources are available in accordance with best practices for quick response,
– Managing accident reporting and analysis processes transparently,
– Raising awareness through regular emergency drills,
– Conducting periodic inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment,
– Providing employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suitable for their roles and regularly monitoring their proper use,
– Ensuring the safe, efficient, and rule-compliant use of company vehicles,
– Adhering to the company’s occupational health and safety procedures,
– Implementing our Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with sustainability principles by fostering the participation, communication, and consultation of employees and all stakeholders in performance evaluation, improvement, and continuous development activities.
