As an internationally integrated textile manufacturer, Kıvanç Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is committed to conducting its operations with a focus on quality, human health, and environmental responsibility. In line with this principle, we support the transition to a sustainable economy by ensuring the use and production of safe chemicals and sustainable materials, embedding these values across all corporate activities.

We aim to minimize the impact of hazardous substances and chemicals used in our production facilities, auxiliary plants, laboratories, new investments, and across our supply chain on both human health and the environment.

In this regard, we are committed to the following principles:

-Maintaining records and inventories of hazardous substances and chemicals used in our supply chain and production processes in compliance with national and international regulations and best practices, including the provision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper handling based on their hazardous properties.

-Raising awareness among all stakeholders through regular training programs on hazardous substances and chemical safety.

-Continuously researching less harmful chemical alternatives and, where necessary, considering material substitution, supplier changes, or the discontinuation of a product, taking into account best practices and stakeholder expectations.

-Producing safe and sustainable products containing safe chemicals and materials, minimizing negative environmental impacts, and aligning with the ongoing efforts of our Sustainability Team.

-Conducting product safety analyses in accordance with relevant national and international legislation and stakeholder expectations, and transparently declaring our certifications and patents.

-Ensuring supply chain transparency, allowing stakeholders access to information about product components and potential risks.

-Prioritizing environmental impact, safety, registration, and transparency in supplier selection processes; requesting purity declarations, test data, and additional documentation when needed, and performing benchmarking and verification analyses.

-Continuously assessing risks related to hazardous substances and chemicals, implementing preventive measures, maintaining emergency response procedures, providing regular training and drills for employees, and fostering collaboration with relevant institutions and NGOs.
