15 Companies from Adana Ranked in the Second Top 500

Adana Chamber of Industry President Zeki Kıvanç Announces 29 Adana Companies in Türkiye’s Top 1000 Industrial Enterprises – 2022

President of the Adana Chamber of Industry (ADASO) Zeki Kıvanç stated that, according to the results of the Türkiye’s Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2022 survey, 15 industrial companies from Adana made it onto the list. Including the First Top 500, a total of 29 Adana-based companies ranked among Türkiye’s top 1000 industrial enterprises.

The Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Türkiye – 2022 survey, announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, revealed the following rankings for Adana companies:

Kıvanç emphasized that with the announcement of the Second Top 500 results, the number of Adana-based companies in Türkiye’s top 1000 increased compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 29 in 2022.

ADASO President Zeki Kıvanç: “Adana’s Potential Far Exceeds Current Numbers”

Highlighting that last year Adana was represented by 12 companies in Türkiye’s First Top 500 list and this year by 14, while in the Second Top 500 the number decreased from 16 last year to 15 this year, Adana Chamber of Industry (ADASO) President Zeki Kıvanç said:

“According to the recently announced Türkiye’s Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises Survey by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, the number of Adana-based companies in the Second Top 500 decreased from 16 to 15. However, when we look at the overall picture, the number of companies from Adana in the top 1000 increased compared to last year, reaching 29. An important point to note is that all of our companies listed in the ISO Second 500 are ranked within the first 300. I hope these companies will push into the First Top 500 in the coming periods.”

Pointing out that this number is still not enough for Adana’s true potential, Kıvanç said:

“The increase is pleasing, but it is not sufficient. Considering Adana’s current potential and new investment areas, I believe our numbers will be much higher in the future.”

President Kıvanç concluded:

“I congratulate our companies that, without compromising their production, employment, and export targets, have succeeded in entering the Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises list, and I hope this number will multiply in the coming years.”
